Happy Bird Poultry Farm

Happy Bird Poultry Farm in Isle La Motte raises meat chickens for sale to wholesale restaurant customers as well as local customers from their small farm store.

A Business Builder Loan from the Vermont Farm Fund allowed owners Ember and Stacey Boyle to expand their barn and more than double the number of chickens they raise. Since they started the business in 2016 they have been able to steadily grow their production. They also sell a variety of value-added products from their farm store, utilizing their smoker to produce smoked chicken, ribs, and cheeses along with chicken pot pies and fruit pies.
