Vermont Alpine Farm

Vermont Alpine Farm is located in the beautiful Green Mountains of Reading, Vermont in an area known as the “Vermont Alps.”  The farm is set high in the mountains with stunning views of Mount Ascutney to the east. They raise grass-fed beef and heritage breed pork, and sell meat online and through a “meat of the month” subscription to local and regional customers. In 2019 they built two high tunnels with a grant from the NRCS. A bridge loan from the Vermont Farm Fund will help them cover the construction costs until the grant reimbursement comes through. They plan to expand to grow produce for sale at the farmers market and to wholesale accounts.
